How to IEP Direct Login? Uses, Benefits and FAQ

IEP Direct helps special education teams to complete IEP meetings and tasks related to compliance. The product is part of Frontline. Users may see Frontline branding when logging in to IEP Direct. This guide covers sign-ins, setup, recovery SSO, quick fixes and security. Follow district rules and keep it simple. Save the links to make daily access easier.

Sign-in Process

Click on the Frontline Sign-in Hub or the official IEP Direct Login page. Click Sign In after entering your password and username. Typically, the district ID is no longer required. Save the preferred district URL to your bookmarks. Staff members can keep the link in a shared file to help new hires during busy weeks.

First time access

Accounts are created by district administrators. When prompted, enter the temporary password you used for your first IEP direct login and create a new one. Verify the district and block. On the dashboard, you will find calendars, forms and reports that are relevant to your role. Test a sample task before the next meeting and review permissions.

Single Login

In many districts, SSO is available for direct login to the IEP. Enter your credentials for authentication and select SSO. If you’re far from the identity provider, it may be necessary to connect via VPN. If SSO does not work, try the traditional username and password route. Then contact your administrator to see how things are working.

Retrieving Credentials

If you cannot remember your information and you are on the Sign-in page you will need to click the Forgot button. Enter the email address that corresponds to your account, and then follow the instructions. It is possible that saved passwords are not automatically filled in and must be manually entered. Ask an administrator to look in your spam folder and resend the email if it is not received.
